Subcarpathians surround the Carpathians at
the outside borders; they present themselves like a range of hills and depressions (see
geographic aspects ).
Here you can practice tourism for health and relax, of course, if you prefer easy walks
on country forests roads; there are several resorts for cure; "Baile Olanesti", "Baile Govora", "Pucioasa"
in Getic Subcarpathians, "Slanic", "Baicoi", "Sarata Monteoru" in Curburii Subcarpathians,
"Poiana-Sarata",
"Slanic-Moldova", "Tirgu-Ocna" in Moldovei Subcarpathians closed to the East Carpathians
mountains borders.
