Dobrodgea

Dobrodgea lies in the south east of the country; (see geographic aspects for more details) it is an important touristic place because of the two important areals it has: the Danube Delta, placed N, declared a natural reservation and recently a protected reservation of biosphere, and the Black Sea Coast, placed east, with a range of modern, touristic resorts.

a) The Danube Delta is considered to be the greatest river delta in Europe; it offers you splendid pictures: water trees (weeping willows hanging over the waters, poplars), a lot of reed, many water-birds, animals, misterious forest growing from the waters, places where you can pass only with a boat and many other wild pictures. If you like mistery, this is the right place to go. There are many accommodations as hotels (1-3*) some of them floating on the river. See some pictures next, which catch only a small part of this fairy tale land.

b) Romanian Black Sea Coast is an important sector of romanian tourism, which started to develop from 1970 on; therefore here are many touristic resorts (~13 resorts) with many hotels (1-4*), also cheaper accommodations. It is a place I have visited several times and I enjoyed. The biggest resorts is "Mamaia"; from that starts down untill the border with Bulgaria a range of other resorts: "Eforie Nord", "Eforie Sud", "Costinesti", "Olimp", "Neptun", "Jupiter", "Venus", "Saturn", "Mangalia", "2 Mai", "Vama Veche", in the last two resorts one can practice nudism, the first is more popular for midlle or old people, the next is very popular between young people. Prices all over seaside are the biggest in the country, for accommodations as well as for food, that is why, in Vama Veche, for example, most of the people come here with the tent.
